2020 Audi A6
The Audi A6 is an executive car made by the German automaker Audi. Now in its fifth generation, the successor to the Audi 100 is manufactured in Neckarsulm, Germany. Now in its second model year after a full redesign last year, Audi's 2020 A6 remains a tech leader among midsize luxury sedans. Front and centre is the A6's dual-touchscreen infotainment system, which places the climate controls on the lower screen and audio, phone, navigation and vehicle apps on the upper screen. The configurable system is more complex than the previous knob-based MMI interface, but in trade, it offers more functionality. The A6 is built for comfort. However, there’s an available smart adaptive chassis system, or sport suspension, to go with its responsive steering to make it even more compliant. The cavernous cabin coddles four adults.
Higher-trim models are available with a more advanced braking system, full-speed adaptive cruise control, a surround-view camera system, traffic sign recognition, intersection assist, active lane control. The 2020 Audi A6 feels best in base trim; the 2.0-litre turbo-4 is that good. The 3.0-litre turbo-V-6 is better but gets 3 less mpg. The 7-speed transmission is also good, as is the ride and handling. The quality of the cabin may be the best feature—aside from all those bright, high-resolution displays.
